Significance of Ekadashi
The Ekadashi fast is broken the next day (Dwadashi) within the Parana window after sunrise, and should be completed before Dwadashi ends.
Nirjala Ekadashi (Jyeshtha Shukla) is the strictest, observed without water; Devshayani and Devutthana Ekadashi mark the start and end of Chaturmas.
